I have a question that some of you techies might understand and be able
to help me out with.
I have a 52" internal projection television, that has many complicated
outputs and inputs on the back. It will push 2 rear speakers at 8 ohms
(is this right?) and has "surround" and "rear" RCA-type output blocks.
I want to do some stuff with this TV, but don't know what. I also have
a newer satellite system, and the TV will support MTS stereo, if the
signal is present. The first question is: sometimes stereo will kick
in and out, and sometimes will not come on at all when watching a movie
in stereo. Why is this?
I also wanna get an amp to push a subwoofer and rear tower speakers.
You guys talk of surround, with left, right, center, and surround
channels. Can I get a Surrround capable amp and push towers with the
left and right, push smaller surrounds (which I already have) and push a
single small speaker for the center channel? What if I wanna push a
sub?
Any help would be appreciated, seeing how you guys are pros.
thanx.
peace.......out
cheya.
