 Hi ya' brother David!
Although much will be deleted to save costs of transmission, it
will be saved to file for future use to save search time if the
noon thing is ever brought up, ok?
... .......>>>=======>  MD2SP  <=======<<<.......
DP> This was not at the noon time. The sun was descending below the
DP> horizon, causing shadows or darkness to envelope the gates of the
DP> eastern side of the city. This was not at noon or even 3:00. I am not
DP> sure how you understand this, but what I gather is that you agree that
DP> the evening is at sundown when darkness is descending upon us.

Which is exactly what was trying to be explained to brother
Jerry, as it is assumed that is what prompted your post! And
yes, it is clearly understood which is why it was being brought
to brother Jerry's attention in my post to him, for he thinks
that the Hebrew day starts at noon instead of sunset as The Word
 clearly teaches and declares!
DP> Yes, Bro Clarence, there is a word for noon in Hebrew. Psalms says
DP> that he would pray in the MORNING, at NOON, and in the EVENING. There
DP> was three main divisions of the daylight time. Sun-up, sun directly
DP> overhead, and the going down of the sun in the evening. It is called
DP> "Even" because it was the dividing line between night-time and
DP> daylight time. So, the period that balances these two periods, or the
DP> half-way mark is described as "EVEN".

Of course there is and always was, which, of course, there was
no question of that, but the question was whether or not the
Hebrew day started at noon as per the doctrines and commandments
of men or at sunset as per Yahweh's declaration in the very
first few verses of Genesis! And all the Hebrew division of
times were posted to brother Jerry and he still could not see it!
And of course "EVEN" is ereb, which is dusk, even(-ing, tide),
or night! So, it would then appear as though we were in
 complete agreement, right?
DP> Hope this will help you. Your's in Yeshua HaMoshiach, David
 DP> Pennington.
It most certainly will save a bit of time gathering the Verses
that you have mentioned in the event that someone should
question whether or not noon is in The Word! And you are truly
thanked for your interest and research and posting!
Just another humble servant of The Kingdom.......clarence.......
... May you have much ah ha v , sim ch  and sha l¢m my friend!
