Is ARJ ever likely to have 486 / Pentium optimisation a la PKZip (well the
486 code anyway )
I quite like ARJ, especially for multi volume support but its speed /
compression ratio doesn't compare with Zip (well not in my experience
anyway). This isn't meant as a slight on ARJ as I would be perfectly happy
using it if it compressed more and at a faster speed!!
