The head of the actual socialist party was interviewed, and he stated
flat out that Obama is no socialist.

Back in the late 40's, early 50's, and from the John Birch Society,
anything the right-wing didn't like, was "communist."

And political hucksters were all too eager to label as "communist"
anything *THEY* disagreed with.

Civil Rights was "communist."

Eisenhower was "communist."

Medicare and Social Security was "communist."

Nowadays anything the right-wing, escially the dope-addled conspiracy
theorist Glenn Beck doesn't like is "socialist."
