The board has only been in Fidonet for a week (as of tomorrow!), so perhaps
your nodelist is not quite up to date?  Or the update hasn't propagated? :)

I'm using Notepad on Windows, which is far more likely to be UTF-8 compliant
than Fido compliant. :)
