Hi,

A client of mine is using a 10MBps and a 100Mbps network mixed together
with cascaded hubs. I am using a dial up analogue router and a novell
server. The router is on TCP/IP and so far has nothing to do with the
Novell 4.11 server. The problem I am facing is that the router doesn't work
after a few days. I reset it and it works again for a few days or weeks
sometimes but then comes to a halt again. I have all the users using Win95
clients. What I understand from the supplier of the router that this router
will only work fine on a 10Mbps network which is quite true because I am
using the same router at my own place with 10 users and a 10Mbps network
(and a WinNT 4.0 server) and it didn't stop for a while. Since the client
wouldn't change the 100Mbps hub and I've tried every possibility to find out
whether I can make it work in the current situation. I am resorting to
using the Novell Server as the Gateway for IP. I understand that I have to
install TCP/IP and go by it. What I wanted to know is that is there a
software utility available for Novell that can convert it into a router and
Gateway, just like Winproxy for Windows NT? If not then I'll just resort to
the installation of TCP/IP. Would appreciate any help regarding this.
