David, keep a paper register for the paper checks you write and that's
it.  Don't even keep a balance in it.  That's all in the computer.
Setup Online Bill Paying so the only paper checks written are those you
wife writes at the grocery store.  Spreadsheets are nice but they can't
beat Quicken for reconciliation and reports.
