this sounds like you're trying to run 32bit on a 64bit system that has no
32bit support... what does the following tell you?

  file /var/opt/bbbs/bcfg4


also take a look with ldd...

  ldd /var/opt/bbbs/bcfg4


file will tell you if it is 32bit or 64bit... ldd will tell you if you are
maybe missing some libraries it is trying to load... ahhh, might better
take a look at permissions, too...

  ls -la /var/opt/bbbs


FWIW: you really should apply those updates and security fixes to your linux ;)
