Listen you children and you shall hear
  The story of the Tea Party and an election year.

Begin with billionaire brothers named Koch,
  Who ponied up money for a cruel joke,
In the form of a clever plan
  To exploit the anger of the average man.

Greed of the rich caused the country to tank,
  Americans were angry, the economy stank.
The Kochs mixed their agenda and ca$h with all that scorn,
  And Voila! The Tea Party was born!

Then enter Dick Armey and Freedomworks
  A front group for lobbyists and other jerks.
"Big government's as fault" is their primary theme,
  Shifting the blame from the wealthy funding Dick's team.

Dazed and irate average folks
  were the final ingredient for the Tea Party hoax
The wealthy treated these people like cannon fodder,
  Then enlisted these same folks to carry their water.

We have a right to be angry, a right to be mad,
  Over the fact things have gotten so bad.
The rich got richer while leaving a mess.
  So why hand them your vote and another success?
