The last thing I bought from "Best" Buy was a new flat screen
ATSC tuner glass
teat - which was bundled with a decent DVD player that would do Quicktime, AVI,
DivX, etc. files as well as the more standard VOB fare almost all DVD players
since the beginning of time do.

My favourite solution to the high prices of technology is *NOT* big box
discounters, though. Pricewatch.com will find you the best prices on whatever
you are looking for. And you don't have to fight traffic or parking hassles. I
snagged an ASUS EeePC 900 (refurb) for U$129 delivered to my door. Not super
powerful nor with a huge screen ... but, it does what I need at a price I was
willing to pay.
