TR> I find it disgusting that, in a country where there are
TR> elaborate ways to check the ID of someone buying alchohol
TR> or tobacco, and there are stiff penalties for using false
TR> ID to purchase either one of those products, something as
TR> important as voting to elect local and national figures who
TR> will determine our policy and how the public moneys gets
TR> spent, gets a pass.
Yet there is a big problem with underage drinking, there is
little problem with illegal voting. The US attorney scandal
under Bush was about some US Attorneys who got reports of voter
fraud, from republican congress critters, and found the reports
were phony. So they got fired for not pulling off a political
witch hunt. Remember, these were republican US attorneys,
political appointees.
TR> I cannot imagine under what logic someone like Al Franken
TR> would be left in office, were it to be shown he was put
TR> there by fraudulent voting.
Good thing the republican opponent only got a small number of
felons to vote for him. Not enough to overcome the honest vote
lead Franken had.
TR> Just as the bank the robber robbed to get the money was
TR> illegally deprived of the funds, the majority of voters in
TR> an election that is won by the opposite side through
TR> fraudulent voting, are deprived of good government.
Yep, just like when Bush was anointed by the Supreme court,
because the recounts were showing Gore won.
TR> And just as the house would be taken away from the bank
TR> robber because it was purchased with stolen money......a
TR> person who won political office by fraudulent votes should
TR> be removed from that office, and the real winner installed.
Which should have happened, and Bush should have been removed
and Gore inaugurated. But that didn't happen, dispite your
constant complaints about the republicans stealing the
Whitehouse.
TR> A far too casual manner of handling voter fraud is in play
TR> in this country.
Yep, and as long as the republicans can keep it that way it will
continue.
TR> And a far too loose a method of voter registration as well.
TR> Registering to vote should have a far stricter criteria
TR> than it does, as well as stricter supervision of the voter
TR> rolls.
Except for the fact that there is very little actual vote fraud
ever shown in this country in recent elections. Ok, there is a
lot of minorities who are legitimate voters kept from voting,
but that's another matter.

TR> to have to kill some of their babies." ......Samir Shabazz
