From: Ron Wagner Subject: Re: [drakelist] Why the big delay posting emails? Ron Wagner made an utterence to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, based on the e-mail headers, this one arrived in my inbox at 8:58 AM EST today from Thom's machine. So I am kind of thinking it might just be something to do with how many e-mail systems now have scanners for viruses on their incoming servers (their MX record machines) and then pass it into a user POP or IMAP machines for delivery to the user. I didn't even know that my ISP had implemented a scanner until I was informed from a friend that he had accidentally sent me a virus that I never even received. Started asking questions and found out they were scanning. Kind of nice in some ways, kind of "brig Brother" in other ways. 73, Ron ============================================================ Visit my astronomy home page. http://www.dma.org/~wagner Amateur Radio Station: WD8SBB - Ron and KB8NRP - Joann ============================================================ On Thu, 17 Feb 2005 ad04106{at}netscape.net wrote: > > ad04106{at}netscape.net made an utterence to the drakelist gang > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > ok, so i have had the same problem... now i have tried the reply all... it is exactly 0900:15:02 hours... we shall see how long it takes or if it gets posted at all... ross W1TNT > > > > > Eric Webner wrote: > >> Yeah, just Reply All.
