I am confused. Full screen is the entire screen, not a little pane.
The panes are windows.

If the window is too small, you can adjust it. Right click on the
bar at the top. This time, instead of selecting "edit" select
"properties". When you do, a properties sheet opens up. In that
properties sheet, there is a tab labeled "font". Click on it and
select a font size. I use size 24 TT Lucida Console. A bigger
number makes the window larger, a smaller number makes it smaller.
While you are there, you might look at some of the other properties
that you can modify.
When you are done, you can click on OK and either change the current
window only, or change the properties for all other windows you open
with the same name in the future.

Full screen means "nothing but BlueWave on the screen, no windows".
ALT-ENTER toggles back and forth between a window and full screen,
i.e. hit it once to get a window, hit it again to get back to full
screen.
