In a message on Sunday 04-02-16 Tom Walker said to Holger Granholm: GM Tom, HG>TW> Thae you gone into "TOOLS" - "ACCOUNT SETTINGS" and in the middle of HG>TW> that page put a check mark next to the "Automaticly Download New HG>TW> Messages" line ??? TW> Sorry left out a step. On the account setting list click on Server TW> Setting and it is on that page. TNX Tom, I'll give it a new try next time I open that "Pandoras Box" hi. I did it yesterday: HG> I went into Tools and chose Account settings, but didn't find that HG> "Automatically Download New messages" anywhere. From the settings menu at the right edge I chose (among others), Account Settings - Server Settings and checked the boxes for "[] Check for new messages at Startup" and "[] Check for new messages every [] min" They were both ticked, so I just set a new value for the minutes. That ought to be what you ment by "Automatically etc.....". HG> Down in the left corner there is an icon telling me about HG> connecting to my host, mail server and other things. HG> Clicking on that icon gives me a choice of downloading new messages HG> before going off-line, even if I have already clicked on "Get HG> messages". I've never seen it disconnecting from my host though, and never seen any new messages downloaded, because I did already click on "Get messages" and got what was in store. 73 de Sam, OH0NC aka Holger --- þ MR/2 2.30 þ I got a new shadow.
