BA> One of Bob's Rules for Getting Along in Life is "ALWAYS tip the BA> bartender, AND the waitress (or waiter)." I always (in this country) tip service staff. With the exception that I often don't tip a bartender any more than I would tip a McDonald's drone unless I order a mixed drink more complex than, say, scotch and soda. Bartenders (around here, anyway) are fairly well paid. Especially if they work a union bar. Wait staff are dependent (in this country - not universally) on tip income to pad out the pittance paid by their companies. I will often tip a cook if I have a complex order/requirement and it is done to my satisfaction. Standard service gets a standard (15%) tip. Extraordinary service or a low-cut blouse gets bigger tips. Bv)= ENJOY!!! From Uncle Dirty Dave's Kitchen Home of YAHOOOOAHHHH Hot Sauce & Hardin Cider ... A little learning is a dangerous thing.
