JW> 1- Type  M to activate Macro Record.
QEDIT and TSE are so configurable that this kind of instruction can be
inaccurate.  My CTRL-M is something different.  
The best instruction for the novice, is universal.  Get the top menu
for MACRO , select RECORD , select your activation key and type your
macro.  Then the same  MACRO, RECORD again to turn off the recording.
I have chang ed the keyboard config so much since QEDIT vers. 1, that
I cannot recognize anything that instructs that way.
