subject: Recharging Copiers

I need any information I can find about recharging toner cartridges and
drums. In our home office, we use a Sharp Z-57 II which suits our needs
well, and we are very happy with it except for the cost of refills. We
have checked at Office Max and a couple of other office supply stores,
and can find the powder to refill most any other models of the Sharp
machine,, but not the Z-57 II model. In our searches, we did come
across a small business that refills the toner and TD for several
dollars less than the cost of a new one, but in comparing the amount of
copies we get on the new TD's and toners as opposed to the refills, we
are not doing very well cost wise. I am sure if I can refill the things
myself if I can find out the proper ingredients.... names, part numbers,
etc. The office supply stores say there is no refill material for them,
but the small business that refills them gets the goodies somewhere.
Does anyone have any help with this? Very much thanks in advance.
