Here is a tip which may or may not work for you.
If the airtime plan you want is not normally offered by yur
carrier, ask to have a SALESMAN not a customer service rep
contact you and try asking for it.
They may be willing to work out something. In Canada, officially
you need 10 phones to negotiate a corporate rate but in practice
you might be able to do it for a family as the companies want
customers.
They want customers who will get the cellular habit and show
their friends who will also signn up.
So if you are ina lodge or service club, ask if they have special
rates for that group and if they don't, ask the group if they
would like to negotiate a group rate.
Some companies might even go for a group scheme for a church
congegation.
... I know a good tagline when I steal one.
