I am using powerbasic to write files out on a novell network. Every once
in a while I will get a file access error back from the network. I know
it is not my code because everything is OK when the code runs on the hard
drive. I have noticed that the program seems to slow down just before
the crash. Does this mean it is caused by traffic? If so, how come the
network does not take care of it for me? Do I have to trap and handle
all the errors it gives back? I also noticed there was data-loss in the
file at the error-point (which really scares me). I e-mailed powerbasic
and they said it was a hub about to go down. The network administrator
tells me they are wrong and powerbasic itself is at fault.

HELP
