...
MM> former Governor Romney may be very hostile to LGBT
MM> Americans there are good omens why perhaps President Obama
MM> needs to leave the stage of the presidency.
You lose.
MM> For the next two years we will have a Democratic Party US
MM> Senate so whatever Romney wants, Romney will not get. If
MM> you like the obstructionism the Republicans gave to
MM> President Obama, expect more obstructionism by the
MM> Democrats.
Nope. In face, David Broder, republican shill, wrote a column
supporting Romney on just that basis. The republicans in the
house are so evil they will not support Obama no matter how good
Obama's policy, no matter how much voting no hurts the country.
Democrats, OTOH, will work for the good of the country.
Therefore, Romney will get the support of the republicans in the
house, and the cooperation of the democrats in the Senate. Obama
will get the support of democrats in the Senate, and the
obstruction of republicans in the house.
Therefore, vote for Romney, the candidate of evil.
Ok, those weren't his words exactly, but that's what it comes
down to.
...
MM> Democrats. Perhaps Harry Reid will tell Romney, you want
MM> some of those tax cuts, perhaps the servers and waiters
MM> deserve their tipped minimum wage increase to $4.00 an hour
MM> instead of the measly $2.65,
Broderevil.
MM> and you want some of that war in Iran?
MM> Perhaps we can offer employment nondiscrimination
MM> for LGBT Americans in exchange for that President Romney.
I certainly hope not. That would be not only truly evil, but
truly stupid.
MM> I may not be a fan of either major political partys
MM> nominees in 2012, but perhaps we will get change when the
Real change does not mean as much change as you want. I am
disappointed in Obama also, but his greatest crime is trying to
cooperate with the republicans when he should just act when he
can to do what is right.
MM> Democratic Party stops sending lip service to marijuana
MM> activists or even peace activists where even Cindy Sheehan
MM> questioned the lack of people protesting against war since
MM> Obama has been elected for his first term. Its ironic that
Yep. People were disappointed. They were not hurt as much as
they would have been had McCain won.
MM> President Obama won the Nobel Peace elected for his first
That was just because the world was so sick of Bush.
...
MM> Perhaps for progressives maybe the best thing to do is not
MM> vote for Obama, in safe states obviously. If you live in
MM> Utah or Alabama feel free to vote for Jill or Rocky or even
MM> Roseanne. We should have candidates to stand on principle
Not progressives. Maybe libertarians and maybe even greens, but
not progressives.
MM> in future elections so we can support candidates that we
MM> can truly believe in. Why vote for a candidate that you
MM> will regret voting for?
Nader doesn't regret taking votes from Gore. Yet hundreds of
thousands died because he did. Voting for the perfect over the
possible is an exercise in ego.
