Hi Jay P Hailey, hope you are having a nice day >>EEEEEEEEE!!!!! JPH>Is no one but me impressed that Burt Rutan is building an X-15? You know how it is, it's hard to comment on something you haven't read. ;> But... Fwiw he's not the only one doing something abt getting into orbit w/o Nasa's or the govt's help. Way back I used to get Analog and one issue had a story in it abt a group of people designing and building a working prototype craft. Right after the story however was a real science article about a group in either NM, AZ or NV that were doing exactly what was in the story using personal funds and private contributions to work a liquid fueled, human supportable ground to orbit space craft. Since they were doing some proprietary and unthought of methods they were keeping under the radar so to speak as much as they could. (like osha would really understand what a real risk is) ;> Who knows, we could have a race on our hands shortly. :> -=> Yours sincerely, Paul Williams <=- ... "I WANT you!
