Question for all: now that we know that Larry Lawrence
faked his WWII service, if not his college attendence, the
question remains - what WAS Larry Lawrence, of military age
and physically fit to play varsity football [his claim],
DOING during the greatest war in American history? What was
his draft status and why _didn't_ he serve in the military?
Or do birds of a feather - draft dodgers, in this case -
really flock together? 
... I'm not insensitive, I'm political-correctness challenged.
