Hola Todos :) A point of mine has tried to install husky using the uri listed in http://husky.sourceforge.net/debian She put the sources for Debian Sarge testing in her sources.list and in Synaptic installed: hpt libfidoconf1 fidoconf-runtime bsopack huskybase libsmapi2 Did not find either msged nor golded available for installation. She managed to find the scrip fidoInst and executed it. She executed tparser and reported no problems. She found /etc/fido/config and more or less understood the options there. But she asks me: Now what do I do? How do I call your system? How do I write and read messages? And she goes on: ¿What is husky? What does it do? Does it call or poll my uplink? No, it uses binkd which it is not a dependancy. Does it toss? No, it uses hpt to do it and this is not a dependancy. Does it allow me to read and write messages? No, it uses msged for that but this is not included in the dependancies. Then, what does husky do? ... Has left me a bit baffled. I though the main dependencies were covered in the debian packages for a point. I'm trying to answer her as best as I can but do not want to pass my confusion to her. I understand that people are either busy or tired, maybe even a littl burnt. Just trying to figure out were help is needed and if I can help.
