Hello James, we were saying !
JB> What happens if you ? Until W'98, it opened the dialog
JB> Dale mentioned.
Hee !. I am on the Thinkpad now and if I do the A-E keys, I get
the window with the top border and it has : c:\BWAVE as opposed to the
XP-Pro machine that showed ????4?????????? ! Go search !
JB> Did you ebay it? I need a slim 9.5mm, that has to replace a Fugi that
JB> went South on me.
Yes, I got it on eBay at the horendous cost of $0.99 plus S/H.
I have a few 2.5" HDs here to spare. They are the 12.5mm size. No 9.5mm.
But these are free to you. Look for an error in posting on eBay. An error
will prevent all casual readers to see what is offered. I got a good
Thinkpad, years ago, as nobody bid on it, it was listed as Thinpad, no K
and nobody saw it. Do a search for a mispelled word. The 10 giger that I
got was advertised as an iPod HD and knowing that a HD is a HD, I bid on
it and I do not even own an iPod. It got formatted fine and is in use as
a C:\ device in my XP-Pro system. The D:\ device gets all the apps in its
30 gigs.
Got the Thinkpad going but it is
not seeing much use nowadays.
