-= Pete Replied to Ian Smith about: Netcomm ?7F =-
G'day Ian
IS> Um, it normally sits there with mode LEDS 2 and 3 on, with LED
IS> one flashing like mad, which I find irritating. Is this a bug,
IS> feature, or mis-setting? :)
PC> Call it a feature, it grows on you eventually :-)
IS> How long does 'eventually' take? :) Meanwhile, it vigorously
IS> prompts me to turn it off when not in use (only using it for
IS> dialing out to ISP so far).
Well my Netcomm sits on top of the mail computer which is under the
desk out of my sight :-)
IS> It had come setup with %M0 (and most other defaults), now fixed,
IS> so at least LEDs flashing while online now indicates something
IS> worthy of attention.
Yep do the same here, Doesn't help when it's offline though.
Pete.
