I was on record before they were sent over there as being opposed to the war
precisely because I knew from research the was no WMD or ties to 
Al Qaeda.
No American serviceman or woman needed to die over in that hell.
Had there been fewer idiots like you there wouldn't have been all that

You want to hear about checks, look into the fact record numbers
of troops suffering from severe traumatic head injuries are surviving 
and with the IED's that's a huge proportion of our service casualties.
Of those surviving 1/3 are estimated to be in lifetime care in nursing
homes and similar, 1/3 will have life changing personality changes and 
lifetime disability and the last third are estimated to mostly recover.
That's not even counting maimed and dead.

You ass sitting at home safe and comfortable rooting
for troops caught in a civil war among some of the most
violent people in the world.
It's not a damned football game you ass.
It's not making America safer.
That job was abandoned in Afganistan, never begun in Saudi Arabia
and now Pakistan ( our ally) has signed a peace accord with Al Qaeda militants.
