Hello James, we were saying !

JB> What happens if you on the top boarder anywhere
JB> to the left of the "_" (Minimize) button?

Hey, another way to get that small menu !

JB> I too use a Semware editor, called "Q". What you describe
at the top
JB> of your screen, tells me you are running BW, and consequently TSE-Jr.
JB> in full screen. Try the key combination while it's open to
JB> toggle between a windowed process, or not. Once you get to the windowed
JB> session, you should see the muck we are trying to describe.

Yes, I see all that "muck" now. But the c:\ is not
accompanied by BWAVE in white, there is some funny characters,
ie: ????4????????. What do they imply ?

DC> I see those as part of a Tool Bar for that window at the top
DC> of the open DOS session. It's fairly well explanatory as long
DC> as the tool bar is there.

You are right and it is all new to me.

DC> You won't see it in Full-Screen. It has to be a window. Dan said.

DC> 98 has the Tool Bar. I think that XP did away with it to make
DC> it tougher for us DOS users!

Serves him ( Dan ) well. Tee !

The VIA 800 needs a new HD.
One is on its way, a 10 g.
