Hello Maurice!

Long ago I started my linux experience with the SLC distribution and moved
to Slackware when the discs from Walnut-Creek became avalable.

After running Redhat for a while and the French distribution, I moved to
Debian, now with Rasbian on the RPi I have the convenience of having the
same OS on all my hardware. If your past is in UCB-Unix I can imagine that
one would feel more at home in Slackware.
