Mike, MP>> For some reason, I thought Ed was in Illinois. MP>Hmm, he was in the Louisville area, but maybe he moved and I missed it! :O I was going to look him up via his callsign, but it escapes me offhand. The thing is, though...the callsign address is only where the amateur radio licensee can receive mail from the FCC...it may or not be his actual location. There is a requirement in Part 97 of the FCC Rules, that if mail sent to the licensee is returned to the FCC as undeliverable, they can suspend or revoke the license of that amateur radio operator. I personally have a Post Office Box, due to sticky fingered nosey neighbors. Plus, I don't have to go check it every day. I have the smartphone app, and get email notifications, if there's mail to be picked up. I know there are several pieces in there, but since my car went in the shop last Monday, and I can't get it out until Wednesday, I haven't checked the box since then. I likely will have to go to the counter to get the backlogged mail. MP> * SLMR 2.1a * The number you have dialed...9-1-1...has been changed. Probably because of non-payment, or all the crazy calls (i.e. complaining about the drive thru screwing up their order, looking for a spouse, etc.). :P Daryl === þ OLX 1.53 þ The Adventures Of WIN.INI The Pooh By W.
