LM> Yeah, there really isn't much beyond the "Apocalypse in 9/8" ripoff

LM> Wow, "Incubus" bad? Amazing how tastes differ. That's easily one of

LM> I know Clark's favs, but what are yours, Scott?
You didn't ask me, but...
I don't care for most of _Fugazi_ at all, but interestingly "She
Cameleon" is one of the only songs on it I *do* like...
"Just For The Record" is nothing special, but I see nothing wrong with
it. I don't like "Cinderella Search" much, either. In fact, except
for "Grendel" (which I have to admit to loving!) and "Tux On,"
_B'Sides Themselves_ is pretty much a bust. Oh, I like "Three Boats
Down From The Candy" as well, but those three are it.
I don't like "Garden Party" much either, though when I saw the band
with Steve Hogarth in concert they did a *wonderful* bang up job!
Mostly because of audience participation, I think.
Favorite songs, hmm... "Script For A Jester's Tear" and "The Web" are
their most "prog rock" sounding, and among my favorites. I have a
hard time picking anything from _Misplaced Childhood_, as it's so much
just one continuous song. I don't have any specific favorite there.
From _Clutching..._ I'd probably pick "That Time Of The Night (The
Short Straw)" as my favorite. There are a few other special ones, but
I'd have to go listen to it right now to figure out which song is
which, especially among the last few. "White Russian" is good, but
seems to be missing a little something.
My absolute *favorite* Marillion song is without Fish: "The Space..."
I *LOVE* that song!!!
