7.  Election campaigns shall be financed from the general fund, and 
shall last no more than two weeks.   Bribery in the form of  
"campaign contributions" from ANY source shall be prohibited, as 
shall acceptance of same. Violators, having proven that they will not 
behave as members of a society, shall be permanently stripped of 
citizenship and civil rights, and the election shall be nullified and 
no replacement held until the next regular cycle.

(It occurred to me to simply have them shot but we'd blow the budget 
on bullets for the first couple of rounds.)               Albest,
