Interesting the hotel thought the dog was very flea and tick
bitten or ridden. Didn't know hotels had qualified veterinarians
on the front desk.
As far as dogs going on stair landings well that can happen but
it is less likely to happen if people take their dog out PROMPTLY
first thing in the morning after feeding.
And also take the dog out just before bedtime.
Now a dog can pick up fleas while travelling, but you really
wonder how many it could pick up in a day's travel.
As far as crossing behind a car vs in front, main problem with
going b ehind is you are probably going to be away from the
crosswalk and on a busy street that can be a problem.
As far as people who pull their car out over a crosswalk so
people have to walk in the path of traffic, i've seen regular
pedestrians just pour across a street and traffic with the light
can either drive over them or hit the brakes.
You'd have loved a couple of times when in Toronto some moron
blocked an intersection, couldn't pull ahead, light changed for
the other street, pedestrians poured across the street and the
banche wail of a siren was approaching on street guy was
blocking.
Not an ambulance, not a cop but a 12 ton fire engine! Guy honked
horn desperately and pedestrians kept pouring across. He thought
he was going to get t-boned but fire engine stopped , light
changed and he managed to pull his excuse for a car ahead to
clear a lane for the engine.
Would have made neat crash with 12 ton fire wagon doing 30 mph
into some compact car I'll tell you.
Car would have been scrap but a fire engine can't leave the scene
of an accident.
A good grid lock is neat as pedestrians can cross every which way
all at once but it is hard to figure out which way haas the
light.
... I call things as I see them; If I didn't see them, I make them up!
