SD> DD> I wonder how that would work, since you did pay for it already. SD> DD> Like SD>It's perfectly legal. Since I did purchase the set, I have a legal SD>right to make a copy of it for backup purposes. It's the same thing SD>with computer software, videotapes, et cetera. :) I'm not sure about that. Videotapes of movies, etc., DO have that warning against "ANY reproduction". Not to say that I know for sure, like I said. But I don't recall a provision for copying for personal use...what with one owning the original in the first place, what would be the point? And I'm just arguing semantics, I guess...'cause I was a Napster lover before the gubment and Metalica came down. ;) I'll be truthful...I stole s***! I did it to see if I liked it though, and then I bought what I liked! Virgin and Tower should be shut down for having sound stations if Napster is illegal! --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:275/311) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 275/311 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
