RJT> I have trouble enough getting a grip on things for one RJT> platform, never mind a whole bunch of them, and RJT> don't know how you guys do it. :-) Well, so far I'm not succeeding in doing it.... I still need to pull together more tools for the OS/2 box, or go through the Linux based configure script by hand to get code to compile under GCC EMX port on OS/2. And then I get to hit the differencea between GNU / Open Watcom, having __OS2__ defined where the Linux GCC compile didn't use that option, etc. Because of the macros used, defines used, etc., to get things to port, one minor change can cause a ton of errors..... And it can take time to figure out what item needs changing. :( So, I'm going to have some "fun" sorting out existing #ifdef's and changing them to depend on ( __GNUC__ and ) vs (__UNIX__ and __OS2__) for some items..... And i've found that the editor I've been using on OS/2 is replacing 's with , and (the OS/2 version of) GNU make distinguishes between the two for a few things.... :( Let's see... Still need to track down Bison / Yacc for OS/2 to compile Maximus there.... Any way.....
