If you ran everything through the make install procedure successfully, then
you just need to run the runbbs.sh that is located in /var/max to startup
the code to receive an inbound telnet call on port 2000. As to setup, if
you have existing max control files on another box, you can convert them
with a dos2unix type processing, update your paths and possibly case of
file names and run.... At least on intel based processors. I haven't
fully tested this yet, so there still may be bugs related to binary
files..... If using something other than intel i386 compatible CPU
systems, the binary files will probably break. And I haven't completely
tested binary files transfered to Linux debian 3.0r1 box, so I'm making
some assumptions that may not work out. On 64 bit cpu's or big endian
architechures, we expect to see some issues with transfer binary data files
used by Max and/or squish..... We haven't started to change the code to
support those types of issues.

Take care.....
