Are you sure?  NW4.01 was very buggy and Novell offered free
upgrades to NW4.10 (I think).  If you are running NW4.01
that may be the problem.  Also, NW4.01 is not Y2K safe and
there will be no updates.

Regardless of which version you are running, have you
patched it to current? 
http://support.novell.com/misc/patlst.htm is the place to
look for patches.

Also, posting to at.novell and pl.comp.sys.novell in English
may not be very useful.  pl.* is Poland, at.* is also
another country but I don't know which.  fido.novell (where
I am reading this) is also pretty slow and mostly unread. 
The best place to post is the comp.os.netware.* heirarchy. 
Pick the newsgroup the best fits your question and don't
crosspost between those groups.  Everybody that's anybody
reads them all.
