Hi Russ:
I had some Medium Burgundy that was too soft when I was using it last
summer in my garage. I added some beeswax to it. (I added about 5 to 10%
by volume of pitch). I read here on the list, or somewhere else, that some
also put talc in the mix with the beeswax. I'm assuming the talc adds
strength/viscosity to the pitch lowering the flow. The beeswax worked well
for me. (My wife didn't even notice that here kilogram of pure beeswax and
croc pot were missing for a couple of weeks - " Sorry Dear, can't
unmix pitch and beeswax, I really am sorry about that") :)
