DE> I have a tiel also! I like my baby, unfortuantely, she's molting, and
DE> I don't like cleaning the mess on the floor.
ST> I couldn't help but laugh...when I read this...;-)
DE> I'm glad that you find humour in my misfourtune. :+)
But it is my misfortune too...;-) I love my babies and I'm sure
that the unusual weather we are having this summer is as
uncomfortable for them as for us...;-)
DE> Yeah, I have one of those, but it keeps falliing off, so I just gaver
DE> up. I don't mind vacuming the litle rug, and sweeping the hard wood
DE> floor is n;t all that bad, just annyoing. I'm thinking of moving her to
DE> another part of the house, where she can molt everywhere, and I do;t
DE> mind picking it up.
OOoh...I have my cage sitting on a stand...not hanging...and the
plastic thing can't move....if you have another place that
wouldn't be as difficult to clean maybe that would be your
answer...;-)
ST> lady...Princess just loves to hang upside down on the swing and
ST> exercise her wings....which just sends the feathers flying into
ST> the air and out of the cage and on to the floor...well gray and
DE> I love it when Balth does that, it's so. . .annoying. :+)
She decided to exercise her wings when I had her out earlier
tonight....right on my shoulder...I turned and looked at her and
said whachdoing and she quit...;-) Poor Scoobie can't do it
without taking off....;-)
ST> white feathers on a brown rug...gives the impression of
ST> snow...;-) I hate it...and will be glad when this molt is
ST> over...;-) I sympathize with you....;-)
DE> I'll be glad too, but I like to take all of the feathers and do things
DE> with them, like put em in a jar. It looks quite nice, adn you wouldn;t
DE> beleive how little feathers a bird gets rid of when it molts.
OOOh...I know how many they have...I'm saving them for a friend
that wants them for crafts...and another one tha wants them for
fly fishing...;-)
