Nah. The mill, was for electrolytic refining of copper. Similar process is
used for aluminium. Huge DC current passed thru the metallic ore at low
voltage, cooks it in a polar way so the pure metal settles conveniently on
removable cathodes. Like, electroplating except it's totally functional, 
ever
decorative.
