Ok, just for the record, my comment about "productive discussion" was
sarcastic and specifically I was referring to seeing a lot of this.  The thing
is, there won't be any purpose to this and this isn't the place to discuss
this anyway.

No one ever changed their opinion based on a BBS post any more than they do
based on a Facebook meme today.

On top of that, the media has seen to it that we are so polarized that anyone
who disagrees with their "opinion" is some kind of "-ist" and anyone who is a
liberal is some kind of idiot.

Let it go.  It will all get sorted out in a month or two and we'll have four
years to prepare for the next one.
