In a message on Tuesday 04-04-16 mark lewis said to Holger Granholm: Hi Mark, HG> You see, with this Mobile Internet, I'm not constantly on-line. ml> mobile internet?? i thought that was for cell phones and that one ml> would have DSL or cable for their fixed facilities... Oh no, here it works for cell phones as well as laptops and pads. ================= I forgot to add that Mobile Internet can also be run from a stationary machine if you plug in a receiver for the frequencies used by the cell phone companies. These adapters (receivers) plug into an USB port, and come in two kinds. One is an USB stick, and the other is kind-of-a router, with mostly a couple of antennas. They do also plug into an USB port, but with a cable connector. Laptops usually have built-in antenna(s), for the purpose. I'm right now waiting for a 300 kbs thumb stick that is Win10 compatible. The presently available 150 kbs sticks already have Win10 compatible drivers, as do the 300 kbs "router" types.
