   There is a CROSS_STITCHING echo (just ask your sysop for it as I
typed it) But there are also lots of us who post here as well. Do you do
any thing other than Precious Moments? I do a lot of book marks and Xmas
ornaments as well as larger pictures. Right now I am working on a few
Xmas ornaments, a bookmark, as well as a large picture of a Wizard.
all are on even weave fabrics instead of Aida. I only use the Aida now
if I'm doing ornaments for people I am not sure would notice the
difference. I have used up most of the Aida I bought when I first
started stitching and have been replacing it with some of the even
weaves whenever I can.
  If your in the Portland area there is a fabric store called Fabric
Depot (700SE 122nd Street) that sell a lot of the even weaves as well
as flosses and some leaflets at what I consider to be reasonable prices.
I live in Tacoma WA and try to make an annual pilgrimage down there to
do some major stocking up of fabrics, not only for stitching on but for
making clothes for my soon to be five year old daughter.
