Blurry,
The thing is, though, that with ADTPro I can at least launch the
program and then fiddle with settings to get it to talk to the GS. As
it stands at the moment I can't even get AGS to run. So how can I make
any changes to get it to talk with the GS when I can't get the program
to run in the first place. I'd almost think I have a "which came
first, the chicken or the egg" sort of problem here.

Looking at the Java preferences, under Java Application Runtime
Settings, it is set to J2SE 5.0. If I need a new Mac and Leopard, then
I guess I won't be running AGS for some time.
