I used to run AI> Max but switched to Synchronet and now have a few QWK links I'd AI> rather not lose when I switch back to Max. Any ideas on that? There is two ways. one is qwk2rep and the other is MKNET115.ZIP. I haven't tried either yet. although mknet115.zip does look nice. it deals with squish and *.msg formats. I talked to the author and he is not sure if the package is y2k compliant or not. He is thinking of either helping out with the maximus project or revising his Mythical Kingdom bbs to deal with telnet ports. Not sure about the other question of telnettting. wouldn't vfossil work? it emulates a dialup connection which allows a person to telnet to your bbs. Being my maximus for dos is being evaluated under dosemu, I have not yet figured how I would actually set up a packet driver and vfossil on it. Michele Marie Dalene ... So easy, a child could do it.
