I have the same problem Patrick. It happens with all 4 of my Supra external
V.34 modems. Since updating to the -17 code, it doesn't seem to happen as
often, but does lockup occassionally.
It seems to happen when a caller drops carrier while connected to the BBS.

modem stays off-hook and the display cycles as if a 300 baud caller was 
online,
with the display showing a "3" for connect speed. The modems will stay like
this and will not reset until I manually turn them off and then back on. Any
ideas as to what could be causing this? The setup string I used was
AT&F2W1S11=50L0M0&W&W1.
