Have been using a Canon PC-7 for about 7-8 years now. Cost me about $1200
but equiv now down in your price range. Works very well, 1 breakdown... in
all that time.. cause--> some machinery sliding on stainless steel rods
ran out of oil... stuck.  Opened it up and oiled stuff.
BTW... no need to buy the cartridges new for about $100-$120...
you can get them as rebuilt units at about $45-$65.
Stick to model that has cartridge system.... less aggravation by far!
