If the error also occurs with only the shareware version installed on your
system, you should check the setting of your TELIX environment variable
(mostly set in the AUTOEXEC.BAT), that must point to your current Telix
directory!
*The shareware version of Telix v3.5x has its own language file*
*file (TELIXSHW.LNG) that cannot be substituted by any language file of*
*the retail or update version!*
The only way to use one of these language files is to *register/update to*
Telix v3.51!
Try the following:
Delete the TELIX.LNG file in your Telix directory, then make sure, that
- for the shareware version - the file TELIXSHW.LNG, for the retail/update
version at least one (better more) of the other provided language files
(TELIX??.LNG) are available in your current Telix directory.
Switch to your Telix v3.5x directory and enter "Telix" at the DOS prompt
followed by pressing the  key. The shareware version will then
automatically create the appropriate TELIX.LNG file, the retail/update
version will first ask you for a language. After selecting one language of
the provided list, Telix will create the appropriate TELIX.LNG file and
the surface will appear in the selected language.
