Hallo Dave!
In my experience itīs hard to catch Carps at a water temperature
under 8 degrees. First from a water temperature of 10 degrees or higher
a succesfull fishing starts and then you can catch also the greater part.
Here in germany it will be in March that the water has the
right temperature.
In winter are however places near power plants are very good!
It pleases me, that you want to fish also once with boilies. It is only
important that you fish with a hair-rig!
If you want I send you a page per netmail where you can see a complete
hair-rig!!??
Tschau
