From: "James Lerch" To: Reply-To: "James Lerch" Hi Bernard, On WIN-XP, goto Settings / Control Panel / Regional and Language options Looks under "Samples, Number" and see what Win-XP is using for a decimal separator. Seems certain parts of the world use commas for decimal separators, and some of us use periods. FigureXP will this setting for you when its launched and use the style selected in The Regional and Language options in control panel for numerical entry. So, if your stuck using ',' for decimal separators, you should be having to do this all the time in windows. As far as saving the document and getting the "Run-time error '13' Type mismatch" I'll have to look into that, I thought I had resolved that problem previously... I do have a problem typing a '.' as the decimal separator from the numeric keypad: the program will accept a comma and no other... Is that linked to the error? What does the error mean? Any cure in sight? TIA, and please bear with me as Win XP isn't quite my OS of choice ;-) Meanwhile, thanks for the great program. I'm going to rebuild a foucault tester and get some fresh numbers for an 8". The ones I wrote down years ago just seem too good to be true...
