Chock full o' omega-3 essential fatty acids.  I hear the wild ones around
these parts have picked up some badness (sea lice etc) from the Atlantic
ones that are popular in fish farms.  There has been talk off and on about
shutting fish farms down.  Also many retailers have been falsely selling
the farmed salmon as wild which is a big no-no.  Definetly much controversy
in this part of the world about salmon.
